This site is built to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.
Our commitment
We design and test this site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidance. Automated contrast and accessibility checks run on every change, and the build fails if they do not pass. Automated testing alone cannot guarantee full conformance.
Accessibility is a civic obligation for a campaign, not a feature. If any part of this site prevents you from getting information about this election, that is a defect and we want to fix it.
What we've done
Every page works with the keyboard alone and has a skip link. Images have text alternatives. Forms have real labels and announce errors. Colour is never the only way information is conveyed. Motion respects your reduced-motion setting.
A high-contrast design is maintained alongside the standard design and is held to a stricter contrast standard.
